Needs drive the Resource Planning process.
Needs include :
Forecast of future sales (modified by user input of upcoming Events and Adjustments).
Customer Orders already in house for immediate or future delivery.
(For any given week Resource Planning uses the higher of Forecast or Customer Orders).
Planned Orders from other Distribution Centers.
Planned Orders from Kits or other higher level items.
Monthly needs are shown in 4 4 5 weekly buckets.
Customer Orders are shown in the specific week they are required.
Events are shown in the specific week they are required.
Needs can go out 208 weeks into the future.
