General Description of Vendor Lead Time Fill Rate
1. In the rpcfg.txt there is a line that says *LEAD TIME FILL RATE PLUS WEEKS*2*@
2. This means that when Resource Planning is deciding whether to order today ,
3. or wait until tomorrow , it calculates what the fill rate would be in $ at cost
4. over the vendor lead time plus 2 more weeks.
5. In the Report Generator there is a report which shows the details of this calculation :
6. Line 18 Vndr-LT-Fill
7. If the fill rate loss over this period of time is greater than the weeks
8. required to make the vendors restriction , the system will create a purchase order.
9. Note: The Vendor Lead Time Fill Rate report only includes items that have planned orders in the next 27 weeks.
