General Description of Item Order Frequency
1. Resource Planning uses Item Order Frequency to reduce the number of times an item is ordered in a year.
--- The Order Frequency makes the planned orders larger but less frequent.
--- This reduces work but increases inventory.
--- The normal setting in MyGate Resource Planning is 2 weeks A items , 3 weeks B items , 4 weeks C items.

Example of Item Order Frequency
1. Here are Calc PO's for an item with a Order Frequency of blank (every day).
1. Here are Calc PO's for that same item with a Order Frequency of every 2 weeks.
