General Description of Next Action Item
1. You can use the MyGate Report Generator to look at an existing report.
2. These reports include things like purchases , major outs , excess inventory , and ABC analysis.
3. But also things like forecast error , selected vendors , new items , events , adjustments etc.
4. For example : Run and/or View the PURCHASES-COMPLETE report.
5. Then when in Focus Forecasting® or Resource Planning , you click Next Action Item , it will show the item with the highest purchase $.
6. If you click it again it will show the next highest purchase item.
7. Whatever existing report you view, the system will show the items on this report.
8. Run a report of FORECAST-EVENT-DETAIL .
9. Now you can use Next Action Item to show items with events.
10. Run a report for a selected vendor.
11. Now you can use Next Action Item to show items for this vendor.
12. The Next Action Item combinations are almost endless.
