General Description of Making Adjustments to a group of items
1. In the Report Generator run a forecast-summary for a group of items ie pc 40716nx thru 40716nx.
2. Enter the % you want to reduce or increase the forecast. 80 = 20 % decrease for example.
3. Save the forecast-summary.csv in the csv format.
4. Run the % Adj Forecast.
5. Enter a comment on why you are making this adjustment.
6. Run an ABC analysis for this group of items.
7. Click on the Focus Forecasting double arrow keys to view the items adjusted.
8. You must Get Data again to update your reports and resource planning for your adjustments.
9. Only use group adjustments when you are sure you know something about the future that the system does not.
10. Don't overdue forecast adjustments or you will lose control of forecast accuracy.
